*sigh* Well it's certainly taken me long enough to get this up and on here.
This was my final project for my junior year in high school, Art 1 class.
It was even on display in the main hallway. So that made me happy.
As you can see, this is Sheik and Link engaged in one of their ballads, or requiems, or preludes...whichever you perfer. And just in case you've been under a rock for forever, they're from Ocarina of Time. Which, by the way, is one of my favorite games ever.
I know there a few minor errors, but if I can live with them, I guess that's what matters. But please, do tell me what you think! I'm rather proud of this one, so don't crush me completely, but all corrective criticism is greatly appreciated!
Link and Sheik are copyrighted to whoever it is that owns them. Nintendo? Shigeru Miyamoto? Or both? *shrugs* Well, whichever.

Original finish date: June 1, 2003. (That's right. Three years ago.)
Original size: 18" x24"
Lined with a pencil, then lined with black acrylic paint, then filled in with the respective colors of acrlyic paint.
So, haha, yes: Acrylic paint.
Time to complete: about two months, working on and off, of course.
And...haha...sort of?
I haven't done anything major since this one, but not the lack of not wanting to.
I just can't seem to get past this artist's block of mine.
But I do have a blank canvas behind me here that's yelling "PAINT ME!!! PAINT ME!!!"
This is really nice! Sheik is ma ultimate fav~Loves how you did her hair.
-- If you still loved him, you'd wait for him.
No hope in love, love, love.
Scream at the thought, it's not okay.
And you dream of the day she'll be here.
And your last dying wish would be to see her one last time,
when the wall came down.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

So as soon as I get some subject matter, I will.
And yeah...the whole Sheik/Zelda dual-transgender-indentity thing.
It's a bit confusing...but enh, I have my own beliefs on the matter. Ha.
Coloring with paint is hard...but not as hard as lining with paint.
